What is the Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup?

The Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup is a series of international competitions held at different venues throughout the year, where gymnasts compete on individual apparatus rather than in all-around or team events.

Organized under the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), each meet awards medals and ranking points based on performances in apparatus qualifications and finals. Gymnasts accumulate points across the series, and those with the strongest results on each apparatus are recognized in the overall standings.

The format allows athletes from many countries to gain high-level competition experience, improve their world ranking, and showcase their specialist strengths on the global stage.

Recap: FIG World Challenge Cup 2025

The 2025 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup Series showcased some of the sport's leading apparatus specialists across the international calendar, with consistency across multiple stops proving decisive in the overall standings.

In the men's competition, Israel's Artem Dolgopyat claimed the overall World Challenge Cup title on floor exercise, continuing his reputation as one of the world's premier tumbling specialists. Kazakhstan's Zeinolla Idrissov topped the pommel horse standings, while Argentina's Daniel Villafañe secured the rings crown. Chinese Taipei's Tseng Wei-sheng finished as the overall vault winner, Türkiye's Ferhat Arıcan led the parallel bars standings, and Mert Efe Kılıçer claimed the horizontal bar series title.

The women's series also produced a highly international group of winners. Bulgaria's Valentina Georgieva secured the overall vault title, while Kaylia Nemour topped the uneven bars rankings. Ukraine's Marianna Kiniuk won the balance beam standings, while Croatia's Antea Šikić Kaučić finished as the overall floor exercise champion.
