Recap: Men's European Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2024

The previous men's European Championships were held in Rimini, Italy, in 2024 and marked the first major championship of the Paris Olympic year.

Cyprus celebrated one of the biggest moments in its gymnastics history as Marios Georgiou claimed the men's all-around title with a score of 84.265, becoming the country's first European all-around champion. In the team competition, Ukraine edged Great Britain to reclaim the European title for the first time since 2020, with Italy completing the podium on home soil.

Great Britain's Jake Jarman demonstrated his exceptional power by claiming the European vault title, while Ireland's Rhys McClenaghan once again excelled on the pommel horse and claimed the title. Greece's Eleftherios Petrounias continued his remarkable dominance on still rings by winning another European gold, extending his record as the most decorated rings gymnast in European Championships history.

The championships also served as an important indicator ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with many of Europe's leading medal contenders carrying their strong form into the summer.

Recap: 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships took place in Leipzig, Germany, with a mixed team competition held for the first time.

Türkiye's Adem Asil claimed the men's all-around crown ahead of France's Leo Saladino and Hungary's Krisztofer Meszaros. The apparatus finals also produced memorable moments. Greece's Eleftherios Petrounias claimed a record-extending eighth European still rings title in joint first place with Adem Asil. Hamlet Manukyan from Armenia captured his first senior European gold on pommel horse.

Great Britain won the men's team gold medal, with Luke Whitehouse also winning the floor title and Harry Hepworth and Jake Jarman taking silver medals on floor and vault respectively. In the first ever Mixed Team event, Germany won the gold medal, with Great Britain and Italy rounding out the podium.
