What Is the European U20 Athletics Championships?

The European U20 Athletics Championships is a top biennial event spotlighting Europe's best young track and field talent.

Since 1970, formerly called the European Athletics Junior Championships, it has launched stars like Jakob Ingebrigtsen, Nafissatou Thiam, and Armand Duplantis.

• Includes all core athletics disciplines: sprints, distance, jumps, throws, hurdles, and relays
• Athletes from 48 nations will be represented
• Athletes meet the age eligibility for u20 European Athletics Championships if aged at least 16 and not older than 19 on 31 December of the competition year.
